Nord Rhythmic Academy is a professional training center specializing in rhythmic gymnastics — a demanding Olympic sport that develops strength, flexibility, coordination, and precision. Our mission is to bring a structured, high-performance rhythmic gymnastics program to North Carolina.
Founder & Head Coach – Sofiya Chatzigrigoriou
Sofiya is a Candidate Master of Sport in Gymnastics and a USAG / SafeSport certified coach with a strong technical foundation and competitive background. She emphasizes proper technique, discipline, and athlete development from the first class, creating a safe yet challenging training environment.
Coach Valeriia Panchenko is a Master of Sport of Ukraine (International Class) in Rhythmic Gymnastics with 17+ years of elite training experience and 2 years of coaching athletes ages 3–20. She is a Ukrainian National Team member and a World University Games Champion (2025), with multiple medals and national titles.
Valeriia offers online private classes focused on flexibility, body technique, apparatus skills (hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon), choreography, and competition preparation. In addition to rhythmic gymnasts, she also works with figure skaters, dancers, cheerleaders, and other athletes who want to improve performance, strength, and artistry.
